WAYGOOD, PITTAWAY FAMILIES: In 1884-6 a 14 yr old boy from England went to US, and lived with a family: Edwin & Emma Thompson PITTAWAY in BROKEN BOW, NE. This young man was our Great-grandfather..William WAYGOOD. We have some information as to the PITTAWAY's, but nothing re:William being with them.HELP! Would anyone know how I can get more information re:either name for them while they were in the area? Thanks.

Looking for information about and descendants of Earnest Vernon Abbott. He was born in Eldora, Hardin Co., IA on Oct. 1, 1865. Died March 14, 1933 in Cumro, Custer Co., NE. He married Marietta Ross in 1888 in Custer County. They had six children:Iva Myrtle (2-0-1890), Henry Ward (7-29-1892), Zola Fae (10-30-1897), Archie Lloyd (11-1-1901), Elden Earl (7-10-1903), and LaVerna Pearl (10-18-1908). Other surnames in the family include Willard, Jenkins, Fairchild, Marsh, and Cox. I would be happy to share any information that I have. Thank you!

Wilson WOODARD was born 10 Mar 1821 in Sandgate, Bennington, VT and he died in 1886. He married 9 Feb 1842 in Geauga Co, Ohio, Silala TREMAINE / TRUMAN b 18 Jun 1819 NY. Wilson WOODARD's daughter, Jennie Omelia WOODARD and her husband, Thomas LAMPMAN moved from Geauga Co, OH and lived in Gates, Custer, Neb. where Jennie and her baby died 25 Dec 1883 during childbirth and were buried on the "Old Jim Oxford farm" near Lillian, NE. Another daughter, Alice Otelia WOODARD and her husband George Washington HAZEN moved from Chardon, Geauga Co, OH after March 1880 to Gates, Custer, Neb., where their 6th,7th & 8th children were born: Rosetta HAZEN b 26 Feb 1883; Jennie HAZEN b 1 Mar 1885 and Theda HAZEN b. 6 Feb 1888. Wilson WOODARD's grandaughter, Phoebe WOODARD (aka Carrie Phoebe WOODARD) was born 20 Sep 1878 in Jackson Co, Iowa, and died in 1948 in Toppe! nish, Yakima Co, WA the d/o Carrie Bell KELLOGG and Silas O. WOODARD. Phoebe WOODARD apparently was raised by her maternal grandparents, Allen and Mary A. OAKLEY -KELLOGG as her mother died when she was 4 months old. Phoebe WOODARD's maternal grandmother, Mary OAKLEY KELLOGG died 15 May 1895 in Gates, NE and was buried in Gates Cemetery, Gates, Custer Co, where other related KELLOGG's and ASH's are also buried. Looking for information for Stop, Custer, Ne. Post Office established June 18, 1884 and closed April 25, 1894. Also any reference to Patrick H. McNally who farmed there in 1890. Information concerning the location would be great. History would be good too.

I am looking for information in J.J. Crable. He lived in Broken Bow. He was married twice. Minnie Blevins and Julia Rofgen were the names of his wives. His Children were Johm James, Frank J., Grace Caroline and Thomas. He also had a son named Arthur from his second marriage. I would like to find his sisters and brothers and parents if possible. I believe he had more children but I am not sure at this time. I am also looking for info on other family names as well.
