LDBETTER, LEADBELTER, LEADBETTER posted by B.K. Schonhoff on Sunday, January 14, 2001

Seeking information on my ggg-grandfather Edward Leadbetter and ggg-grandmother Elizabeth Leadbetter whom I believe to have been in the Sargent Nebraska area around 1855. Supposedly Elizabeth is buried at Mount Hope Cemetary d.o.d. 10-09-1856. Both traveled from Cow Honeybourne England 1851, arriving New York, traveling to Ohio to stay with a relative, and then I believe traveling to Nebraska. I believe my ggg-grandfathers occupation may have been taylor, minister and farmer. Does anyone have any info that may help me in my search? Beverly
