DEAL, MADDOX posted by Jeff Deal on Wednesday, August 5, 1998

My query is in regard to my grandfather Harold or Harrison Deal . He married my grandmother Helen Maddox around 1910 to1920 in Broken Bow,NE. Helen lived in Broken Bow on a farm most of her younger life. Her linage has been looked up but I know nothing about the Deal side of my family. I have met Harry Deal before he moved to San Berdino, CA. where he died about ten years ago. I have heard he may have a son living in CA. and I am looking into that. I have not heard a single thing about Harrys' parents so I have no first names on them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

JOHNSON, LINDSAY posted by Rich Lowe on Thursday, October 22, 1998

Wishing for info on my grandparents family, Leslie and Addie Mae JOHNSON who lived in Custer Co. from approximately 1901 or 02 to 1913. Her father, Johnson P. LINDSAY, was a longtime farmer in the area. The Johnsons were farmers and likely were in the proximity of Callaway. May have had an Oconto area connection also. The Johnsons left the county after a tornado destroyed their home and farm buildings in 1912 or 1913. The last child born prior to leaving the area was understood to have been born near "Lodi, Custer, Co. NE" though I don't find it on current maps.
