    Women's names under the surname column, with asterisks may be maiden names, previous married names, or middle names. Care should be given to note the cross-refrence to the primary name for possible additional information.

    Given names, where more then one name is shown, may be in reverse order as some sources show the names listed one way and another source the opposite. Therefore, the researcher may want to check both names.

    A lot of the information contained herein has been developed from Census reports, particularly, information identifying spouses and families units. Some information has been derived from obituaries, especially maiden names of women. We hope this will aid the researchers in their search of female relatives since it has long been the custom of women assuming the surnmae of their husbands upon marriage.
