CHARLES HENRY FORCE
Charles Henry Force died at the home of his son, Ray Force, Wednesday evening at six o’clock. Funeral services were held at the residence at 12:30 today and were conducted by Rev. Etheredge.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Force and Ben Force left on the 1:45 train with the remains for Plymouth, Indiana, where burial will be made.
Mr. Force was 83 years, 5 months, and 17 days old and he was a veteran of the Civil War. He had made his home in Ponca with his sons for a number of years.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Mohrs’ Undertaking Establishment.

Charles H. Force, Ponca, Was Past 83 Years Old.
Ponca, Neb., May 23.—Charles H. Force, one of Ponca’s few remaining veterans of the Civil War, died at the home of a son here. He was past 83 years old. The body was sent to Plymouth, Ind., for burial.
