FEATHER, JONES, MILLS, STEFFY, WILSON posted by Richard
D. Wilson on Tuesday, March 30, 1999
- My great-great-grandfather JAMES EZEKIAL JONES, born
27 Sept. 1848, was apparently married 14 Nov. 1866, at
Lehigh, Webster Co., Nebraska, to Catherine Mariah
Bullington, who is buried in the Sterling Cemetery.
James Ezekiel Jones died 26 Feb. 1895 at Lehigh, Webster
Co., Nebraska. I am looking for more information about
the Jones family. I believe I can trace the Bullington,
line to through IL and IN and KY back to VA. Related
family lines from Ohio are Steffy, Feather, Mills,
Dickerson; and other lines found in neighboring Gage,
Lancaster, and Otoe Counties include these prior plus
Coyne, Edwards, and Wilson. I have several generations
on some lines; not so much on others. Feel free to ask.

- KOSTROSKY, PETERS, WADEMANN
posted by Richard Moore on Thursday, April 8, 1999
- I have information correcting my spellings of my
family Surnames. The correct spellings from the death
certificates are: WADEMANN PETERS KOSTROSKY Information
from those certificates state conflicts in country of
origins fields, and census records in 1900 provide
further conflict. Census says GERMANY for birthplace of
siblings and parents alike, for WADEMANN and KOSTROSKY,
and Poland for PETERS. Newspaper articles report JOSEPH
JOHN AND CAROLINE [PETERS] WADEMANN came to the USA in
1890,settling first in Woodland, California, and moved
to Blue Hill, NE in 1891-2, with my GGGrandParents
WILHELM AND CAROLINE [PETERS] WADEMANN, with my
GrandFather JOHN WADEMANN and a brother and sister.
Stories told report that the WILHELM WADEMANN FAMILY
emigrated to Luseland, Saskatchewan in 1908, with ROBERT
KOSTROSKY, who had arrived in time, from Germany, to
travel with the WADEMANN FAMILY, and join his KOSTROSKY
FAMILY in Luseland, Saskatchewan. I need information on
these fine homestead families. Please contact me, it is
very important.

possibly Indiana. This is all the information I have at
