I am seeking information on the Gordon family in Pawnee City, Nebraska. The family apparently arrived after 1891, patriarch was William B Gordon, his wife was Maria(e) Harlan Gordon. He is mentioned in Walter Kern's Acquaintances, as a "great horseman" . After he left her, she raised her five children in Pawnee most of whom went to college in a small Christian school in Lincoln (?), Nebraska. I cannot find her death record, or a remarriage. Apparently William "just left" - went to Clinton County Iowa and married again, about 1899. She is still in the Census records in Pawnee in 1910. Do you have access to death records or burials? I would appreciate any information you may find - and would be happy to reimburse for any expenses.

PARRISH - Looking for info on my Great Grandmother Julia T. Parrish. b. ? died 1924 in Neb. She was married to Frank Edwin Parrish from NY and died 1937 in Berkeley Ca.

Also, her parents James D. Parrish and Susan Burton Parrish who both died in Pawnee county Neb. I have no dates, but both were born in NY around 1835 (guess)

BASCOM, George H., born March 4, 1836 in Parke County, IN, son of George Houk Bascom and Sarah Ann Scott Bascom. In the1880's he lived in Saunders County, NE (Ashland) where he was a Dry Goods merchant and belonged to the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. In 1900 he lived in Pawnee County, NE (Pawnee City).

I am looking for his death date and place of death. His wife was Harriet E. Ellis Bascom. She was born April, 1843 in OH. I would like her death date and place of death, also.

I am looking for information on Henry BELLMAY. According to the State of Nebraska's 1885 State Census, A Henry BELLMAY was living with George W. BOSTON and his wife Sarah BOSTON. Also listed is Heattie BELLMAY. Henry BELLMAY was shown on the census as being 24, white, male, a farmer, married, born in Illinois. Henry BELLMAY's father was listed as being born in England and his mother born in Ohio. Henry BELLMAY was listed as a stepson. Heattie BELLMAY was shown as being 25, white, female, a dressmaker, married, born in Illinois, father born in New York, mother born in Indiana, and she is listed as a stepdaughter. Were Henry and Heattie married? I have no record of George W. BOSTON being married to a BELLMAY, nor do I have any record of Sarah BOSTON being married to a BELLMAY. Sarah BOSTON was the second wife of George W. BOSTON. She was the sister of Christina ROBINSON, George W. BOSTON's first wife. Was Sarah ROBINSON BOSTON first married to a BELLMAY? I would appreciate any information that can straighten this relationship out.

Hello there, I am looking for any info regarding the William (W. R.) Stewart family who farmed in Clay township Pawnee, NB in 1880 census. He was born in New York in 1834. appently came from Illinois to Nebraska with his wife Mary and four children between 1871 and 1880.

I believe he is the same Rev. WR Stewart who was married in DeWitt, Saline Co NB on 4 Sept 1893 to Lucy Sutton, widdow of Hannibal Sutton. The wedding licenses says he was from Pawnee City, NB. He died 8 months after their marriage so I am hoping to find an obit, will or other info regarding him that may exist in Pawnee County. Thanks much for any help or leads you can provide.
