Welcome to Logan County, NE

I read with great interest the article by Else Coen Troyer about the SB
Johnson and E. Coen families 140-141. My father (Carl Wesley Wipperman) was
a teacher and is mentioned in the article. She mentions five (5) teachers
names. I am attaching a picture that shows the faculty at Gandy when my
father was there. I don’t know the names of the people in the picture,
except my father is the one on the extreme left. Perhaps those names
mentioned in the article are the ones in the picture. I am also attaching a
wedding picture of him. My father graduated from UNL in 1924. He was on the
University track team and won several medals. My parents were married in
August 1925. He probably came to Gandy 1925 or 26. My sister Elaine was
born in Arnold July 28, 1926. I know he left in 1928 to come to Lancaster
County
