Fiddlers Jamboree
This is held Memorial Day Weekend on Friday evening starting at 8:00 PM.
Come join in the fun and listen to the wonderful music provided by fiddlers from many areas of the United States.

Wind Turbine Days
Springview has an annual Wind Turbine Day celebration that takes place the last Saturday of July.

This celebration started in 1998 when Nebraska Public Power District built two of the first wind turbines in Nebraska.
The day includes a fun walk/run, parade, car show, team roping events,

art show, a swap meet, craft show, watermelon feed,pick up pulls, pickup races, art show, craft show, swap meet, watermelon feed , and barbeque beef.

There are also lots of events for the younger generation with a pedal tractor pull,
bicycle rodeo, nickel scramble.
It is a fun filled day for the whole family!

Keya Paha County Fair The county fair is held the last weekend of August at the fair ground in Norden, Ne.
Come join in the fun and look at all the best home grown vegetables, best handicraft items, and the most wonderful old time rodeo around.

October 29,2011 Vendors Craft Fair

This Vendors Craft fair will be held at the Keya Paha High School.

Time is 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admittance is free to the public.

There will also be concession stands on the grounds where you can enjoy all kinds of great food.

Plan on bringing your family and friends and spend the day...

Veterans Memorial

The American Legion was instrumental in erecting a beautiful monument to soldiers who
served in the World War II, Korean, Vietnam, Lebanon/Granada/Panama/Gulf eras.
This monument was completed and dedicated in 2003.
A monument was already in place to honor veterans of the Civil War, the Spanish War
and World War I. Both monuments sit on the courthouse lawn in Springview.

Springview Golf Club

The Springview Golf Club, with its unique sand greens, is a public 9-hole course with clubhouse, lounge, and storehouse available. Golfers can enjoy weekly summer leagues with cookouts as well as six summer tournaments.

Springview Recreation Area

The Springview Rec Area is a hub of activity throughout the summer months. The park features two picnic shelters, playground, baseball diamond and basketball and tennis courts. Recently a modern restroom with showers and camper pads with RV waste dupms were added. The rec area is bordered by the local golf course that offers unique sand greens. A newly developed area of the park includes a roping arena where the local roping club holds roping and barrel racing events and a pulling track for pickup and tractor pulls. They have finshed the mud run pit for pickups and mud volleyball pit. Keya Paha County Historical Society

Our local museum, the Keya Paha County Historical Society is listed on the National
Register of Historical Places and is always expanding its exhibits, most recently a log cabin.

Please look for our new County Historical Site coming soon.

Cub Creek Recreation Area
Keya Paha County offers excellent hunting and fishing opportunities. Cub Creek Recreation Area is an excellent fishing spot both summer and winter. There are also many private ponds that are available to fisherman with landowner permission.

The Niobrara River and Keya Paha River valleys offer abundant numbers of white tail and mule deer as well as turkeys. Several local outfitters offer guided hunts in the area.
