DUYCK, Martha J.
Martha J. Duyck

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 in St. Frederic Catholic Church in St. Helens, WA., for Maartha J. Duyck, who died June 16 at age 88.

Martha Wilkinson was born March 10, 1916, in Atkinson, Neb. She moved in 1944 to Portland, where she was a milk truck driver, seamstress and housekeeper. She had lived in St. Helens since 1998. In 1944 she married Henry Scholl; he died in 1972. She married Emil Duyck in 1976; they divorced.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Jane Pontius, Kathy Boothe and Ellen Scholl; sons Charlie Scholl, Richard Scholl, Raymond Scholl and George Scholl; brother, Charles Wilkinson; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

FORRER, Duane Keith, Sr.
Duane Keith Forrer Sr.

Duane Keith Forrer Sr. died Aug. 20, 2004 at age 71.

Mr. Forrer was born June 7, 1933, in Atkinson, Neb. He served in the Marine Corps for nine years, including in the Korean War. He moved to Gresham in the early 1960s and was a machinist for Airweld and a maintenance supervisor for Pierce Pacific. In 2002 he married Robin Trew.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Lorra Lucky and Linda Werner; son, Duane Jr.; stepsons, Justin Murphy and Devin Murphy; sister, Eleanor Gilliam; brother, Eugene; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Gathering held. Remembrances to Willamette Falls Hospice. Arrangements by Neptune.
