The book McPherson County: Facts, Families, Fiction has much information about early settlers in Arthur County. It contains 800+ pages, of which 500+ are family histories. I have run across a reference to the book The History of Arthur County, Nebraska, published in 1988 by the Arthur County History Book Committee.
